Editorial Review:

Album Description:
'Whether you teach active yoga or just enjoy practicing yoga in your home, this is perfect to keep you moving.' -ACCENT WEEKLY

'This is not your mother’s yoga music Composed/performed/produced by DJ Free, his keyboards, Native flute and distinctive chanting flow along grooves laid down by master percussionist Brent Lewis…the overall feel is richly layered, a kind of primal naturalness mixed with an edgy urbanity. If one’s style of yoga, dance, or movement is highly energetic, this could be the perfect motivator.' -NAPRA REVIEW

'On Ice...DJ Free and Peter Schimke made sure all their musical chromosomes were properly aligned before hauling in a posse of luminaries, local and otherwise, to put the glisten on their first non-soundtrack collaboration. even as a simple augmented duo, the programming whiz and keyboardist-around-town slide accross genre boundaries with Olympic-caliber grace, mixing potentially unwieldy elements - shuffly house-music tectonics, serious jazz piano, and high-disco string pyrotechnics - as though they were water.' -CITY PAGES

Award winning artist Soulfood (Best IMAX Score) and master percussionist Brent Lewis join forces to create the follow-up to the best selling Yoga Rhythm. Rhythmic percussion by master percussionist Brent Lewis, who has studied with drum masters from around the world; has performed with a long list of artists (Smokey Robinson, Grateful Dead, Joe Cocker); can be heard on Oliver Stone’s JFK and three IMAX scores; and composed for the Australian Ballet. Keyboards by classically trained, acclaimed jazz pianist Peter Schimke, who has provided musical direction for Academy Award nominee David Lynch and Julee Cruise. Rhythmic percussion, keyboards, bass, flutes, woodwinds, chants and exotic instrumentation create the prefect backdrop to a yoga class or that after-yoga get-together. Yoga/movement practitioners consulted in the creation of the music!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Great yoga cd ...
This cd was just the inspirational infusion my yoga sessions needed. The music is smooth, funky but allows for you to focus on your practice. This is a wonderful collection of of artfully crafted music. Namaste.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Peaceful yet exotic! ...
I have bought 8-9 other CDs with this one, many a disappointment sadly. When I received the Yoga Groove, I was thinking "here we go again!" until I heard the first song. Intoxicating, healing, dream invoking, smooth flowing music - great for yoga, relaxation or just for every day use. I often use it during my hectic car ride to work, very soothing.

I also use it during prenatal yoga. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Received what I expected ...
I received the cd brand new but the jewel case was broken on the inside. I don't think it was the fault of the seller but probably how it was shipped. It took a while to get but I had the free shipping so I wasn't too surprised.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * I like the CD ...
I like this CD the first time I listened and now I listen to it everyday. I like it more and more

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Very inspiring ...
This CD came in very handy. I have started doing yoga at home, after three years yoga classes with certified teachers. This CD helps me get in the mood of practising. It's absolutely fabulous!

With the help of producer/songwriters William Orbit, Mark Ronson, Jerry Meehan, Joey Negro and Soul Mekanik (plus guests as diverse as The Pet Shop Boys and Lily Allen), Robbie Williams has achieved a most radical transformation. Gone is the slick, pop-rogue of yesteryear: in his place is a new Robbie that raps, embraces club beats and (mostly) favours personal indulgence over cheesy, universal pop. Recent single "Rudebox", all electronic riddims and slack-rap vocal delivery, was just the start of this transition. The rest of Rudebox completes the remarkable overhaul with several eclectic covers - from Manu Chau's "Bongo Bong" and Lewis Taylor's underground classic "Lovelight," to subversive takes on The Human League ("Louise"), My Robot Friend ("We're The Pet Shop Boys") and Stephen Duffy ("Kiss Me") – and tracks such as "Keep On", "Good Doctor" and "Dickhead", which confirm his quite bewildering quest to becoming a comedic, Staffs-accented version of The Streets.

Slightly more serious are his attempts at what he describes as 'wonky pop'. Songs like "Viva Life On Mars", his odd ode to Madonna ("She's Madonna"), the dark "The Actor" and catchy club-hit-in-waiting "Never Touch That Switch" all feature innovative production and interesting arrangements. Toward the end, we get "The 80s" and "The 90s", two more amusing "rap"-tracks that cover the singer's adolescence and his Take That years respectively; these underline the nostalgic, end-of-an-era feel of the LP. Audaciously eclectic and admirably upfront, Rudebox is overtly a form of personal catharsis. Not all the experiments work, but they're better than you might think, and now they're off his chest it'll be interesting to see where the new Robbie Williams heads to next.--Paul Sullivan

Greatest Hits chronicles the remarkable journey of Mr Robert Williams, from being the "fat dancer from Take That" (c. Noel Gallagher) to the multi-million pound jewel in EMI’s crown. Assembled in chronological order, all the hits are here, except for his initial solo outing "Freedom", and it’s interesting to see how his sound evolves from wannabe Britpop buffoon on the sub-Oasis pubrock of "Old Before I Die" to the subtle captivating melodies of "Feel" and "Come Undone". There are so many great tracks that it’s impossible to list them all, but highlights have to be the barnstorming "Let Me Entertain You", the bouncy, floor-filling "Rock DJ" and the song that madeth the man, "Angels". The two latest additions to his canon--"Radio" and "Misunderstood" clearly have one eye on the past, the other on the future – with the latter an instant classic Robbie ballad from the Bridget Jones 2 soundtrack and the former a foray into the world of electro pop that sounds like a warped Human League track from the 1980s. This has to be Robbie’s forte, his ability to make great pop records that always sound fresh and full of energy. Every home should have a copy of this album, and chances are, by the end of 2004, most of them will. -- Melanie Wilkin
