: :Their second album for Sub Pop (following 2005's 'Apologies To The Queen Mary') might just be this generation's 'Marquee Moon' or an indie rock 'Chinese Democracy' released thirty years early. Better though, to think of it as the sound of a band edging forward into a wispy darkness, one hand reaching out, the other firmly clutching the past.

:Album Description:This Montreal band has toured with the likes of Modest Mouse and The Arcade Fire, they played last year's All Tomorrow's Parties festival in California, self-released two limited edition EPs, and have a song (a cover of Frog Eyes' 'Claxxon's Lament') on The Believer magazine's recent covers comp. Time magazine picked 'Apologies...' as one of 'Canada's Most Anticipated Indie Albums Of The Year'. Expect to see and hear much more from Wolf Parade. :On first listen, Wolf Parade is just another Canadian buzz band that plays fun, keyboard-heavy, new wave-y indie-rock and sings in weird, affected, high-pitched tones. Upon further listening, the ...

:Album Description:At Mount Zoomer, the second full length LP from the Canadian indie rock band Wolf Parade, an indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, now based in Montreal, Quebec. The album is named after drummer Arlen Thompson's sound studio, Mount Zoomer, which apparently is 'a B.C. euphemism for magic mushrooms and a nod to Montreal band, A Silver Mount Zion.' Half of the album was recorded at Arcade Fire's Petite glise in Farnham, Quebec - an old church that was converted to a recording studio for the production of Neon Bible. After touring the east coast in late 2007, Wolf Parade ...

Wimbledon: The 2004 Official Film features the championship runs of Roger Federerer and Maria Sharapova. While beating Andy Roddick was just another day at the office for the top-ranked Federerer, Russian teen Sharapova turned heads by offering a fresh new face on the women's tour, and it didn't hurt a bit that the face looked like that of a model--"Anna Kournikova with a title," she was quickly dubbed. Other moments of the fortnight captured here include Goran Ivanesevic's farewell, the scoring controversy that might have cost Venus Williams a match, and--because this is a British production--Tim Henman's latest attempt to keep the Wimbledon crown at home. At only 52 minutes, however, there's not a whole lot of time to devote to actual game footage, and the camera has a dizzying habit of cutting to a close-up of a player in the middle of a point, making it hard to follow the action. The short running time makes Wimbledon: The 2004 Official Film feel somewhat like a relic from the VHS days, but it certainly looks good in anamorphic widescreen. --David Horiuchi

The Olsen twins are turning 16, and they're celebrating with this collection of party games and, you guessed it, driving lessons. The good news is that if you can help them get past the obstacles and pass the test, they'll take you out with their new driver's licenses to a variety of fun minigame activities, like rock climbing, riding Jet Skis, surfing, ATV quad racing, and shopping for clothes. Earn points in the party games and spend them to upgrade the car and unlock cool tunes and cooler outfits.

It's not very often that a game aims to be fun and realistic while instilling a sense of personal involvement and responsibility. Mary-Kate and Ashley: Winners Circle does that within the theme of horseback riding. Players compete in such equestrian events as dressage, jumping, and cross-country, and learn the basics of caring for a horse. The game offers a practice mode, which lets riders master the controls and explore a course before entering events, and an adventure mode with large forest and island levels where players can play minigames or just simply explore.
