Their remake of 'Killing Me Softly' was the hit, but that's only the beginning of the story. The beats are the familiar crossed-armed boom-bip, but the group's understated grooves and subtle effects lie low in the mix. Rating: - * This is the best album ever! ... The Score by the Fugees is the most classic, amazing albums of the 90s from hip hop! If you loved Killing Me Softly, buy this album and expand your love for Lauryn Hill and the rest of the Fugees! Rating: - * long live the refugee camp ... altough this album is old school its definetly a blue print that many should follow what I like about the album is a rare mix of reggea,hip-hop rap and r&b and half the album were major hits wish anyone would bring back the taste of the rufugee camp and many say the sly & robbie mix was akon first song well all I hope you enjoy this album it is a must have if you dont have it. Rating: - * Wish I could give this more than 5 stars ... This is one of those albums that hit me the first time I listened to it, it hit me hard. The unique lyrical styles, and versitile production makes for an other worldly specie of Hip Hop. Very seldom do we get a piece of music like this. Music that's so honest, real, and rare. Lauryn's beatiful voice with dominant lyrics (sorry Wyclef fans, but she gets the gold for lyricism), Wyclefs lively charismatic delivery, and Pras's (very underrated) laid back smooth style. The three combined are almost too much for me. I couldn't help but read the negative reviews that people left for The Score. Don't listen to them, those are people that haven't EXPERIENCED this wonderful piece of music. This is an album I reccomend to ANY music fan. If you haven't already given it a shot, listen to it all the way through. Before you know it, you'll be sucked in like the rest of us Fugee heads. PEACE! Rating: - * classic ... i've enjoyed this cd since it came out and i dust it off every now and then when i want to hear real hip-hop lyrics, not this stupid stuff they play now that people only like for the beats. i like every track on this cd and it will continue to be one of my favorites. Rating: - * FUGEES ... You know... if you like the Fugees, this is their best albumn. I'm not even sure if they have any other albumns. LA-LA-LA!!!
