Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * This is their best work ...
I luv the song that Monica and Brandy (2 of my All-Time Main Music picks) which is excellent and considered an A+. Everytime I hear that record, it reminds me of how they started working together on the track. U can't go wrong on this. Namean? It's off the album that which is Brandy's breakthrough "Never Say Never" which the hottest-selling CD and the best R&B album of All-Time. I still have it today which I bought it cheap at a thrift shop. If u luv Beyonce, A. Keys, Tamia, or whobody, then this is the right song 4 u.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Pretty Good But Not a Classic ...
I like Brandy and all and she has a good career going on, but I don't think she should do duets with anyone whose voice is more powerful than hers. "The Boy Is Mine" is a good song that came out in 1998- the year that music began to really suck. The video was alright and Monica's hair looked great. But you know, if you're going to have a video that's about fighting over a guy, make sure that he's cute, okay? Mekhi Phifer is cool, but he's not all that. Anway, I enjoy the song and just recently I've found myself being able to relate to it, but that's another story for another time.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * I'm Glad! ...
This is one of my favorite Brandy tunes. She co-wrote the
song and it's pleasant synthesized harp intro is very effective,as is the fading phrase 'the boy is mine'.The song
has a minimal, sharp groove and a catchy hook but there's one
little problem-Brandy and Monica arn't all that well matched as duet partners.Brandy's vocals are sensually low-key and quiet
while Monica often oversings to such an extent that she ends up
laying on that vocal malisma all too common in many singers of that era (even early Beyonce')very thick. But the lyric and vocal
arrangement are believable and though the friendly feud never
really gets resolved by the songs so abrupt ending. The CD that
followed 'Never Say Never' has many high quality songs but you'll hear my review for that later.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * i want a 2nd part of this song ...
I think this is one of the most important duets of all the times even when they both r still on the way to be mega stars (here in LatinAmerica they are not very recognized) but the people we know them we love this to fine girls)
the MTV performance was excellent too bad i couldn't record it but remember this is a classic so you must own this maxi cd

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Nice summer song by Brandy & Monica ...
This is a nice single by Brandy and Monica even thougt Kobe is in the video. This was also a massive summerhit from 1998 and I will give it my stamp of approval I like this song you should to
Lyrics 9/10 Production 10/10 Overall 9.5/10

San Francisco filmmaker Ernie Fosselius made the most successful short film of all time in the 1978 Hardware Wars, an inspired, mock-trailer for a nonexistent, cheapo rip-off of Star Wars. It worked like this: instead of Chewbacca, Fosselius offers the Cookie Monster. Instead of Darth Vader's breathy, slightly echoed voice emerging somehow behind that black-mask helmet, we get a villain whose every ranting utterance is so muffled even this film's Princess Leia equivalent beseeches him, "What? I don't understand you." And so on. Part of the joke is that George Lucas's revolutionary special effects are supplanted by common kitchen gizmos--mixers, toasters--that serve as spaceships and weapons sources. The updated special edition contains 20 computer-generated "special defects" that don't--the distributor boasts--at all match Fosselius's earlier version. Um... right on? --Tom Keogh

It's Christmas in the tech noir slum of the post-apocalyptic future, and scrap-metal sculptor Stacey Travis gets a present she'll never forget. Scavenger boyfriend Dylan McDermott returns from the wastelands with the insectoid robot head of a killing machine. In no time it whirs to life and builds itself a gizmo-laden body out of handy appliances to continue its single-minded destruction of the human race, one warm body at a time. Director Richard Stanley, something of a scavenger himself, plunders everything from The Terminator, Blade Runner, and The Road Warriorto Short Circuit (the spidery construct resembles a demonic Number 5) for his violent flesh-vs.-metal survival thriller. Shot in sun-blasted orange and sweltering red, it's a triumph of style, set design, and grunge aesthetics over story, driven by a pounding techno score by Simon Boswell and punctuated by splattering gore. --Sean Axmaker
