: :This was the record that definitively turned Ministry from an electro-industrial dance band into a cutting-edge metal act. With distorted vocals, pounding drum machines, and ripping guitar chords, songs like 'Thieves' and 'Burning Inside' merged computer technology with metallic riffology, setting the pace for dozens of second-rate computer nerds to follow. --Jon Wiederhorn

: :Great collection at a great price. :This was Al Jourgensen's first full-length venture into the darker possibilities of electronic music. Harsh synthesizers, brutal drums and cynical lyrics defied the easy classification of 'techno-dance' when this album was released in the mid'80s. The programming is proficient and creative, taking the limited sound technology of the time into new areas. 'Just Like You' and 'All Day' make early use of processed vocals and cryptic spoken-word fragments. In 'We Believe' and 'Over The Shoulder' Jourgensen renders ominously driving bass lines and metallic percussion to project pessimistic visions of a cold, technocratic society. The ...

:Album Description:The anxiety and long wait are over at last: Skinny Puppy have kept their promise, returning with vengeance with The Greater Wrong Of The Right, a comeback that could hardly have turned out more consistent or more convincing! The Greater Wrong Of The Right is a breathtaking continuation down the path that Skinny Puppy had embarked with1996’s The Process. The experiments of the past few years have not been forgotten or faded out: in their condensed, highly energetic form they influence an album that impresses first and foremost with its energy, power and stringency. Although all the elements of the ...

:Album Description:'Meta' will shatter any preconceived notions about the band and their music. Several tracks have the signature A23 sound, while others are slightly different in approach. 'Raw' thrives with a breakbeat accentuated by boisterous vocals, while 'Damaged' has a Depeche Mode influence. The vocals in 'Madman's Dream' are completely different from anything A23 has done before, and the record closes with 'Old', a balladesque track with a downtrodden bass line and sweeping synths, complete with emotional lyrics and a choir-like echo on the vocals. 'Meta' is like nothing you expected, but all you were hoping for.

:Album Details:Limited Re-press of this Long Deleted Australian Exclusive EP. Features Five Mixes of the Title Track, plus the Original Version Not Available on the USA Version. :Here's where the trippier directions of the electronic movement run smack into its Sturm-und-Drang industrial heritage. Trent Reznor's peak achievement through 1997 is reshaped five times over with profoundly weighty beats, dub textures, and trance soundscapes. The Orb's mix, which makes Reznor sound like he's drowning in his bathtub, is a bit silly, but otherwise this is fascinating stuff. --Jeff Bateman

: :The auditory assault tactician known as Combichrist has spent over five years perfecting his blend of relentless beats, uncompromising vocals, and acidic melodies. This EP, a precursor to his fourth full-length, features three new tracks and six remixes. Packs more punch than all of the UFC fighters combined. 'Frost EP' proves once again that Combichrist is an unstoppable force in a league of his own.

Wimbledon: The 2004 Official Film features the championship runs of Roger Federerer and Maria Sharapova. While beating Andy Roddick was just another day at the office for the top-ranked Federerer, Russian teen Sharapova turned heads by offering a fresh new face on the women's tour, and it didn't hurt a bit that the face looked like that of a model--"Anna Kournikova with a title," she was quickly dubbed. Other moments of the fortnight captured here include Goran Ivanesevic's farewell, the scoring controversy that might have cost Venus Williams a match, and--because this is a British production--Tim Henman's latest attempt to keep the Wimbledon crown at home. At only 52 minutes, however, there's not a whole lot of time to devote to actual game footage, and the camera has a dizzying habit of cutting to a close-up of a player in the middle of a point, making it hard to follow the action. The short running time makes Wimbledon: The 2004 Official Film feel somewhat like a relic from the VHS days, but it certainly looks good in anamorphic widescreen. --David Horiuchi

The Olsen twins are turning 16, and they're celebrating with this collection of party games and, you guessed it, driving lessons. The good news is that if you can help them get past the obstacles and pass the test, they'll take you out with their new driver's licenses to a variety of fun minigame activities, like rock climbing, riding Jet Skis, surfing, ATV quad racing, and shopping for clothes. Earn points in the party games and spend them to upgrade the car and unlock cool tunes and cooler outfits.

It's not very often that a game aims to be fun and realistic while instilling a sense of personal involvement and responsibility. Mary-Kate and Ashley: Winners Circle does that within the theme of horseback riding. Players compete in such equestrian events as dressage, jumping, and cross-country, and learn the basics of caring for a horse. The game offers a practice mode, which lets riders master the controls and explore a course before entering events, and an adventure mode with large forest and island levels where players can play minigames or just simply explore.
