:Album Description:What is there to say about CHILDREN OF BODOM that hasn't been said yet? In the last six or so years, the band that darted to international fame with their debut, 1997's Something Wild, has gone from being 'this amazing band from Finland' to a household name in the Int’l metal scene. Their home country of Finland has been a fantastic breeding ground for metal music for years now. After recording Follow The Reaper at Peter Tägtgren's infamous Abyss Studio, the band decided to return to the loving arms of a long-time associate, Anssi 'Viiksi' Kippo, and the bowels of Astia Studio. ...

Set 20 years later, and awash in 'rock, revenge, and redemption,' this brilliant new sequel was inspired by current political and social climates. :Queensrÿche's sequel to the classic 1998 concept piece Operation: Mindcrime is not as good as the original. :Album Description:Melodic, uplifting vocals and harmonies, side-by-side with tortured, assaulting screams. Mathematically precise rhythms and complex fretwork, giving way to loose jam-inspired divergences. Pop-meets-punk-meets-metal-meets-rock in the unlikeliest of places: this is the musical crossroads where you'll find Washington State-based trio The Fall of Troy, skittering off defiantly in one direction after another, refusing to stick to any one established road. If it sounds like it all adds up to chaos, that's because it often does - but only in the same beautiful way as our own everyday experience. And with Doppelganger, their Equal Vision debut, that kind of musical experimentation and alternate perspective ...

:Album Description:Limited Edition Japanese pressing of this album comes housed in a miniature LP sleeve and includes four bonus tracks. EMI. 2008. :With Rust in Peace, Megadeth reached musical maturity. While not as slick and stripped-down as their later releases, it does bring the style developed on their earlier albums-basically, high-speed progressive metal-to a high point. Guitarist and singer Dave Mustaine and guitarist Marty Friedman are in fine form here, making technically complex passages sound easy. The lyrics aren't as smooth, but it's almost not worth quibbling over when the music is so good. It's all gut-wrenchingly aggressive, from 'Holy Wars' to 'Lucretia' ...
